The Reform Support Unit, School Education & Literacy Department, Government of Sindh has issued the official notification on 7th February 2022 in connection with Annual School Census of Govt Schools Sindh 2022.
School Census in Sindh 2022 Details
As per approval of the worthy Secretary SELD, Reform Support Unit (RSU) is ready to conduct “Annual School Census 2021-1 22”. The purpose of census of schools is to collect data of public schools, through a detailed comprehensive Questionnaire.
In this regard, as per previous practice, the role of Directors and DEOs is paramount, which enables the department to get information for proper planning and rationalizing of resources.
The data collection will be conducted through the offices of DEOs under the overall supervision of Regional Directors. The District based LSUs will coordinate and assist (designated Focal Person) for all types of technical support. The DEOs will make sure the distribution and collection of Proformas/data entry by their own level & resources through data enumerators.

In this connection, a detailed Human Resource Plan, was prepared, which was approved by the worthy Secretary. Government teachers (preferably Male teachers upto 45 years old will be nominated/deputed as data Enumerators for data collection and data entry. List of posted teachers district/Taluka wise prepared with the help of Data Center of SELD, will be shared by the LSUs of respective districts. The DEO/TEOs of respective districts will facilitate the process such as nomination of required number of teachers, monitoring, data entry, etc.
Keeping in view the importance of this assignment, you are requested to personally lead the Census operation(s) and also direct your district officers/officials at all levels, to take all possible measures for coordination for the foregoing activity with LSUs. Further, you are requested to ensure that all nominated teachers are available for the capacity building workshops as per schedule.
