Government of the Punjab School Education Department has issued the official circular letter on 28th February, 2020 in connection with notification of awareness in schools regarding CoronaVirus.

Kindly find attached herewith a booklet on awareness duly prepared by Health Department Punjab, for children in schools regarding Corona virus.
The Competent Authority has directed that all CEOs, DEAs shall ensure display of attached CoronaVirus Kitabcha (booklet) in all schools (public/private) at prominent place to create awareness among students regarding corona virus.

Furthermore, the teachers/heads of schools shall also sensitize students during class sessions about the importance of cleaning hands with soap, covering nose and mouth with tissue or elbow flex when coughing or sneezing so as to minimize the risk of infection.
You are, therefore, requested to disseminate above directions to all Heads of schools (Public/private) / lower formation for strict compliance. Implementation report in this regard shall be submitted to this office for Information of the Competent Authority, without fail.
After issuing the notification of awareness in schools regarding CoronaVirus, it is utmost important to understand that how to protect ourself and others from CoronaVirus disease in Pakistan.
