School Education & Literacy Department, Government of Sindh has issued the Notification in the matter of Lifting of Ban on Transfer One Day 7th August 2019 for Teaching Staff of Sindh.
In pursuance of the decision taken in the meeting with fall field officers of School Education & Literacy Department Sindh under the chairmanship of Honorable Minister or Education & Literacy on 4th August 2019, it is hereby notified than the ban on transfer and posting of all teaching staff imposed is hereby lifted for one day i.e. Wednesday, the 7th August, 2019.
Upon lifting of the ban in terms of the above, the concerned competent authority i.e. Director School Education / District Education Officer Shall issue transfer / posting order according to the placement plan that they have submitted during the aforesaid meeting under the chairmanship of Minister SELD Sindh. The Said orders shall be issued on 07th August 2019 only. Thereafter, i.e. from 8th August 2019 onwards, the bam on transfer / posting of all teaching staff resume until further orders. However, joining period to the transferred teachers shall be allowed as per the rules of the Government of Sindh.
In case of personal emergencies or intractable personal problems or wedlock or on the basis of
extreme administrative exigency, the transfer of the concerned teacher may sparingly be proposed by the concerned Headmaster/Headmistress giving full justification and rationale supported by documentary evidence. Such proposal shall be veiled by the concerned Taluka Education Officer, and subsequently by the District Education Officer and the Director School Education who would all add their personal views and submit the proposal to Secretary School Education & Literacy Department who would in turn solicit approval of Honorable Minister for Education & Literacy.
If any of the officer in the above mentioned hierarchy feels that the proposal is not justifiable. then he I she shall invariably reject the said proposal. Upon such rejection the concerned teacher shall not move, and the concerned Headmaster I Headmistress shall not propose the same transfer / posting repetitively. Even where the proposal sounds justifiable to the Director School Education, he / she shall seek no objection certificate of the concerned Headmaster I Headmistress I Taluka Education Officer / District Education Officer I Director School Education of existence of a vacancy in the school where the concerned teacher is proposed to be posted.
The above leniency shall not be applicable to the teachers whose placement has been made to any school on fixed contractual term.
