Directorate General Pakistan Post Islamabad has issued the official Notification letter on 20th November, 2019 in the matter of ban on leaves except casual leave for two days.
The Pakistan Post Office Department is currently undertaking a number of initiatives and ventures for its Financial and operational uplift under the guidance / direction of the Federal Minister for Postal Services.

These assigned takes demand consistent human effect, Whereas, the PPOD is facing shortage in terms of human resources, as thousands of posts are lying vacant due to non-recruitment since long. Thus, in order to meet the assigned targets and accomplished the tasks within the given timeline, we have to utilize the available pool of human resource optimally and efficiently.
In view of above, the Director General, PPOD has been pleased to ban on leave (all kinds) during the next three months, except maternity leave and on extreme emergency grounds.

Further casual leave shall be allowed maximum upto 02 days at a time to any officer / official of the department. All the heads of Circles / Regions / Offices are therefore directed to ensure compliance on the above instruction in letter and spirit.
