BISE Lahore has announced the update to confirm about the annual result of 10th class (Matric) on 31st August 2022 (Wednesday) at 09:00 A.M. The result was delayed due to the non-availability of the practical marks but now the provincial cabinet in its meeting held on September 14 had approved the promotion and exams policy.
The announcement was made public on the official twitter account of Lahore Board. So finally, all the speculation is over and a confirmed news is here. All BISEs of Punjab will announce the result on the same date. The date is announced by Higher Education Minister Raja Yasir.
Latest Update on 10th Class Result 2022 Date: You can download the complete Matric (SSC) Result Gazette 2021. If we talk about Matric Science students then the total 210285 students have applied and 206349 candidates have been appeared in the matric examinations. But the total 204124 students are passed and the pass percentage is 98.92%.
- The Secondary School Certificate (Annual) Examination, 2021 commenced on 29th July, 2021 and culminated by 9th August, 2021 under Examination Policy COVID-19.
- Instant result is prepared in line with the notification No. S.O(Boards)13-1/2020 dated 13th October, 2021 regarding examination policy issued by Higher Education Department Govt. of the Punjab in the Backdrop of COVID-19.
- The result is being announced on 16th October, 2021.
- The result gazette is issued as a notice only, errors and omissions excepted. Any entry appearing in this notification does not itself confer any right or privilege to a candidate for the grant of certificate, which will be issued under the rules/regulations on the basis of the original record in the Board office.
- The candidates, who have passed the examination, have been shown by mentioning the total number of marks obtained by them against their roll numbers/names in the result gazette.
- With the declaration of the result, the Result Cards bearing paper-wise marks and other essential information would be issued to the private candidates on the addresses given by them in their admission forms whereas the regular candidates will get their Result Cards from their respective institutions.
- All enquiries regarding the result of the candidates may be addressed to Assistant/Deputy Controller Examinations (Matric) / Phone No. 99200192-97,99200118 Ext. 222,223.
- The candidates who have been placed under special Exam. in the Secondary School Certificate (Annual) Examination, 2021 would be allowed to appear in the special Examination 2021, according to the schedule prescribed by the Board.
- The candidates intending to improve their grade or marks are allowed to appear in Part-I or Part-II or both or subject/s with one examination opportunity when scheduled by the Board within two years of passing relevant examination in the same group / subjects in current/prevalent syllabus.
- No additional examination opportunity shall be provided in lieu of an opportunity missed for any reason.
- The candidate intending to apply for re-checking of his/her paper/s may apply Online within 15 days after declaration of the result.

Previously it was announced that the result shall be declared on September 14, 2021. But due to the non-availability of practical marks, the result is now delayed and expected at the end of September or the start of October. The intermediate annual exams were canceled due to COVID-19 this year. However, the result will be prepared by adding 3% grace marks to 1st-year results.
All students will be given a minimum of 50% marks in practicals, and the remaining 50% will be given on the basis of student’s performance in theory paper. Regarding admission in higher education institutions, the minister said that institutions have been directed to announce their admission policy and dates in accordance with the announcement of the matric result.
