Change of Eligibility Criteria for Stenographer Punjab Police

Amendment in the Punjab Police Department (Ministerial Posts) Rules, 2017

i). Bachelor’s Degree (2^nd Div.) from a University recognized by Higher Education Commission.

ii). A speed of 90 wpm of short hand in English and 40 wpm of typing in English on computer.

iii). A speed of 60 wpm of short hand in Urdu and 25 wpm of typing in Urdu on computer, and

iv). Six months diploma or certificate in MS Office.

i). Bachelor’s Degree (2nd Div.) from a University recognized by Higher Education Commission.

ii). A speed of 90 wpm of short hand in English and 40 wpm of typing in English on computer.

iii). Six months diploma or certificate in MS Office

Note:- Preference shall be given to those candidates who also know Urdu short hand and Urdu typewriting on computer.
