School Education Department has issued the criteria for selection of best teacher who taught students of SSC Exam 2017 in identified best schools.
HIGH & HIGHER SECONDARY
Criteria for the selection of best performing teachers on the basis of SSC Result 2017 as follows:
- Merit List should be prepared on the basis of result percentage and Grade point average.
- I-Male and I-Female Teacher from identified Schools of each District in Punjab should be selected.
TORs SHOULD BE FOLLOWED AS
1). Best teacher should be selected purely on merit y the selection committee already notified by the School Education Department vide No. DD(M)/ITD/05/2017 dated 08-09-2017.
2). Minimum 40-students are required in a subject appeared in SSC Exam 2017.
3). Total Score obtained by a Teacher = 100
(Marks obtained on the basis of Result Percentage + Marks obtained on the basis of GPA)
4). Result Marks = 50
Average result of subject taught by considered Teacher and marks obtained out of 50 marks be calculated as
Marks obtained = Average Result / 100 × 50
Result % of Subject A+ Result % of Subject B+ Result % of Subject C / 100 × 50
♦ Result % of the Subject A = 67
♦ Result % of the Subject B = 79
♦ Result % of the Subject C = 54
67+79+54 / 3 × 50 / 100 = 200 / 3 × 50 / 100 = 66.67 × 50 / 100 = 33.33
5). Quality of Education in terms of GPA = 50 Marks
Marks obtained out 50 in terms of Grade point average
For Example: 3× 6+7× 5+15× 4+11× 3 + 7× 2 +4× 1+3× 0+1× 4 / 50 = 3.28 GPA
Marks obtained = GPA × 50 / 10 = 3.28 × 50 / 10 = 16.4
