Provincial Government of Sindh, Pakistan has envisaged to develop Dhabeji Industrial Zone on 1530 acres in District Thatta. The project is already declared a “Priority Special Economic Zone (SEZ)” by Government of Pakistan under the Industrial Cooperation phase of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
The project will offer state-of-the-art infrastructure, utilities at the doorstep and easy access to the ports of Karachi and the main railway line (ML-1). It is ideally located near Karachi which provides a gateway to Central Asia, South Asia, Middle East and Africa. Hence, making it the most viable and connected Industrial Zone in the region.
The project will be launched under the Public Private Partnership mode on Design; Build, Finance, Operate, Maintain & Transfer (DBFOT) basis through International Competitive Bidding. The project Is being launched under Single Stage Two Envelope procurement procedure as given in Sindh Public Procurement Rules 2010.
Scope of Work
The private partner will be responsible for the following:
I). Development of the entire 1,530 acres of project land
II). Construction of infrastructure, and related facilities
Ill). Procure industrial commitments from potential zone enterprises
IV). Maintain and operate the Industrial Zone

Bid Security:
The Bidder shall deposit a bid security of five percent (5%) of the Bid Price along with the proposal.
