Government of the Punjab, Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department has issued the official Notification letter on 28th April, 2020 in connection with disinfection tunnels not scientifically safe from Covid-19.
NO. S.O (PHP) 9-149/2020: The Corona Experts Advisory Group (CEAG) in its meeting held on 23rd April, 2020 observed that there was no scientific evidence to support installation of disinfection tunnels at public places for prevention of Covid-19 infection.
The CEAG recommended that in view of the scarcity of resources, Disinfection Tunnels may not be installed.
The copy of notification regarding disinfection tunnels not scientifically safe from Covid-19 has been given for the public concern and sharing the knowledge of experts.
