Directorate of Public Instruction (SE) Punjab has issued the official Notification letter on 30th June, 2020 in connection with provision of Information regarding admissions, tree plantation and upgradation of schools.
Your personal and immediate attention is invited towards this Govt. of the Punjab, School Education Department vide Notification No. SO(SNE)UPGRADATION/2020 dated 08-6-2020 whereby the Competent Authority has been pleased to approve approve the Upgradation of 1227 Elementary Schools to High level in all 36-Districts of Punjab.
I am directed to ask you to immediately coordinate with your respective Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education for affiliation of said 1227 upgraded Elementary Schools to High level.
Further you are required to take necessary action regarding New Admissions 2020-21 in High / Higher Secondary School as per directions of School Education Department vide letter No. SO(A-I)I-31/2008(P-I) dated 26-06-2020 and also complete the exercise of distribution of books upto 15th July, 2020 positively by adopting all codal formalities as well in the light of SOPs regarding Covid-19 Pandemic.
