Educators Failed to Acquire Professional Qualification Within Contract Period

Office of the District Education Office (EE-W) Vehari has issued the official Notification letter on 26th March, 2020 in connection with educators failed to acquire professional qualification within contract period.

it is stated that as per Recruitment Policy 2014, issued vide Govt. of the Punjab, School Education Department No. SO(SE-IV)2-2/2014 dated October 20, 2014; all those educators, appointed without professional qualification, were required to acquire professional qualification i.e. B.Ed/M.Ed/M.A Education within three years.

Later on, this term & condition was relaxed vide Govt. of the Punjab, School Education Department No. SO(SE-III)5-117/2019 dated February 28, 2020 and those educators were required to acquire professional qualification within their contract period i.e. five years.

In view of the above, you are advised to direct Principals / Sr. Headmistresses / Headmistresses and Assistant Education Officers to relieve such educators who were recruited in 2015 and failed to acquire professional qualification within their contract period, from the date of expiry of their contract agreement under intimation to this office. In case of non-compliance, concerned relieving / joining authority and DDOs will be held responsible.
