On the direction of Chief Minister Punjab Government of Punjab’s prompt measures to eradicate dengue;
♦ Free diagnostic tests for dengue including CBC
♦ Mobilization of private hospitals
♦ Special arrangement of fogging in dengue affected areas
♦ Formation of special teams for larva inspection
♦ Appointments of doctors, nurses and staff on urgent basis
♦ Special cleanliness drive
Take preventive measures to protect yourself from dengue
♦ Keep environment dry & clean
♦ Keep flowerpots and flowerbeds dry
♦ Keep drinking water pots of animals & birds dry
♦ Dry properly the raining water from compound & rooftop
♦ Do not leave the water on gutter lids
♦ Water tanks and other water storage vessels must be kept covered
♦ Used tyres and trash must be dumped properly
♦ Solid waste, debris and used construction material must be removed immediately
