The Finance Division, Government of Pakistan has issued the official notification in connection with encashment of un-availed period of LPR in case of death of the govt servant. The further details are given below;
LPR Encashment In Case of Death of Govt Employee
The Federal Government, Finance Division (Regulation Wing) has directed the Concern Department to disburse/pay LPR to the heirs of a government employee who has passed away during LPR and his leave has not been paid early. The condition is that all the codal formalities should be completed. This decision was taken after a case came to the Finance Division. In this regard, the Finance Division issued an office memorandum.
The undersigned is directed to refer to the subject cited above and to state that Finance Division has recently received a case where a Government Servant died during his LPR period, it is clarified that in such a case his/her heirs are entitled to receive encashment of LPR for the remaining period subject to completion of other codal formalities.
