Government of Pakistan, Finance Department (Regulation Wing) has issued the official Memorandum on 4th September, 2018 [Updated on 11th February, 2020] in connection with encashment of LPR in case of death.
Encashment of Un-availed Period of LPR in case of Death of the Government Servant
The undersigned is directed to refer to the subject cited above and to state that Finance Division has recently received a case where a Government Servant died during his LPR (Leave Preparatory to Retirement) period. it is clarified that in such a case his/her heirs are entitled 10 receive encashment of LPR for the remaining period subject to completion of other codal formalities .
