Government of the Punjab, School Education Department (Monitoring Wing) has issued the official Notification letter on 13th November, 2019 in connection with eradication of polio virus in all schools of Punjab.
Kindly refer to the meeting held under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Punjab at Chief Minister’s Office, Lahore on 09-12-2019 regarding adoption of preventive measures for eradication of Polio virus In Punjab.

During the said meeting, the Chair highlighting the hazards of Polio outbreak, directed that each Department in collaboration of Health Department. shall play its role to eradicate Polio virus.
The Competent Authority has directed that all Chief Executive Officers. District Education Authorities shall ensure facilitation to vaccinator teams of Health Department during vaccination of children in schools.
Similarly, the respective Head of educational institution (public/private), shall extend full cooperation with the visiting vaccinator team.
It has further been directed that each CEO, DEA in the District shall convene a meeting with the association of Private schools in order to sensitize and to extend cooperation with the vaccination teams of Health Department.
This may be complied with in true letter & spirit. under intimation to this office.
