Government of the the Punjab, Services & General Administration Department (Welfare Wing) has issued the official Notification letter on 26 September, 2019 in connection with establishment of Taxpayer facilitation centers / KIOSKS for filing of Income Tax Return for Tax Year 2019.It is utmost important for every taxpayer in Pakistan to understand the advantages & disadvantages of being member of Active Taxpayer List (ATL).
I am directed to refer to the subject noted above and to state that the last date for filling of of Income Tax Returns for Tax Year 2019 is 30 September, 2019 and a large number of employees have not so far filed their Income Tax Returns despite deductions of income tax from their salaries.
Forgoing in view, all the officers / officials working under Government of the Punjab are directed to fulfill their legal obligation of filing returns of their taxable income for the year 2019 by 30-9-2019.
It is therefore, requested to ensure filing of income tax returns by respective officers / officials under administrative control and drawing taxable income above Rs. 600,000/- per year by 30-9-2019.
