I am directed to enclose herewith copies of Ministry of Federal Education & Professional Training, Islamabad’s letter No. F. 7-S/2019-MC dated 30-08-2019 and Finance Division Islamabad’s Office Memorandum No. F. 3(1)R-S/2014 dated 30-08-2019 on the captioned subject for further necessary action, please.
Federal Government issued the Conveyance Allowance authorization in Summer and winter vacations. According to the Notification, teachers of Federal Government Institutions will avail Conveyance Allowance during summer vacation and winter vacation.
Earlier the FG teachers did not get CA for the summer and winter vacations on the plea that as they don’t come to school /college. But now on the basis of the decision of the court and the Notification of Finance Division they are eligible for conveyance allowance during summer and winter holidays.
The undersigned is directed to refer to the Federal Service Tribunal’s judgment in Appeal No. 1889(R)CS/2016 dated 3-12-2018 and to say that matter has been considered in Finance Division and decided to implement the above referred judgment it is accordingly directed that deduction of Conveyance Allowance during summer / winter vacations may e discontinued w.e.f. 21-10-2016, in respect of all employees of Federal Government Educational institutions.
