Government of Sindh, Labour & Human Resources Department has issued the official Notification letter on 4th February, 2020 in connection with festival of holidays 2020 Sindh.
No.L-II-H-29/2011: In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub Section 80(1) of the Sindh Factories Act, 2015 (Sindh Act No. XIII of 2016), The Government of Sindh is pleased to declare that the following holidays will be observed as Festival Holidays by all the workers in Province of Sindh during the year 2020:-

The Muslim festival of holidays 2020 will be subject to the appearance of Moon, as per decision of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee which will be communicated through various information media.
The Muslim workers belonging to an establishment at their option, but with seven day notice to the employers may observe, festival holidays on Shab-e-Barat and Shab-e-Meraj in lieu of any of the Festival Holidays listed in Para-I above.
