The Government of Pakistan, Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has issued the latest notification on 21st February 2023 in connection with First Day of Ramadan in 2023. According to the notification, the Ramadan 2023 will be likely to fall on Thursday 23rd March 2023 in Pakistan.

No. F. No. 10(1)/DD (Q)/2022. In pursuance of the decision of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, in its meeting held today at Islamabad, the Federal Government in the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony hereby announces that the moon of Shaban 1444 AH has been sighted, therefore the 1st Shaban, 1444 AH shall commence from Wednesday, the 22nd February, 2023.
