Funeral grant is awarded on the death of any family member of a Punjab Government servant according to the following rates:
Gazetted Employees
- Rs.10,000 will be granted on the death of a government servant.
- Rs.10,000 will be granted on the death of a dependent member of the family of a government servant.
Non-Gazetted Employees
- Rs.6,000 will be granted on the death of a government servant.
- Rs.6,000 will be granted on the death of a dependent member of the family of a government servant.
- Rs.6,000 will be granted on the death of a government servant after retirement.
