Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan has issued the Notification (Order) on 19 August, 2019 in the matter of General Qamar Bajwa appointed Chief of Army Staff for next three years.
General Qamar Javed Bajwa is appointed Chief of Army Staff for next three years from the date of completion of current tenure. The decision has been taken in view of the regional security environment.
