Government of the Punjab, Finance Department has issued the official Notification letter on 20 September, 2019 in connection with Clarification of Executive Allowance 1.5 Times of the Monthly Basic Pay to all officers working on the cadre strength / list of posts duly notified by Services & General Administration Department.
I am directed to refer to the Finance Department Punjab employees Notification letter of even number dated 29th July 2019 on the subject matter noted above and to clarify that in case of an officer is posted out upon a post, which is enlisted for grant of Executive Allowance, but the incumbent carries lower scale or higher scale, as the case may be, then the said officer, is entitled for grant of the Executive Allowance @ 1.5 times of monthly basic pay of the scale in which he is drawing his pay.
