Guidelines Regarding Submission of Family Pension Cases 2021

Punjab Government, School Education Department has issued the official notification letter on 4th February, 2021 in connection with guidelines regarding submission of family pension cases 2021.


Family Pension Cases 2021 Guidelines


I am directed to refer to letter No. 195/B-3, dated 11-01-2021 on the subject noted above. It has been noticed with great concern by competent authority that family pension cases are being submitted to authority after inordinate delay which is generally on the part of head of the school/institution concerned.

This causes hardships for the bereaved family of Govt. Servant. Simultaneously, it is hampering official decorum and efficiency of the department. The head of the school/institution/office should forward the family pension case within seven days of receipt of application with all relevant documents/enclosures and consequently, the same should be submitted to School Education Department within 30 days of the receipt of family pension case complete in all respects.

It is requested that the instructions may be passed on to all DEOs / Heads of Schools / Institutions to adhere to guidelines regarding submission of family pension cases, in letter and spirit, failing which action shall be taken against delinquents.
