Pakistan Meteorological Department has issued the official Notification letter regarding weather alert on 3rd January, 2020 in connection with heavy rain/snowfall forecast in northern parts of Balochistan on Sunday and Monday.
Met office predicted heavy rain/snowfall in northern pats of Balochistan (Quetta, Mustang, Ziarat, Qila Abdullah, Qila Saifullah, Harnal and Pashin) on Sunday and Monday. Hence snowfall, average 02 feet in (Quetta, Ziarat, Qila Abdullah and Pashin districts) may disrupt normal life and transportation in these areas.
Heavy rain may generate flash flooding in local nullahs of (Quetta, Qila Abdullah, Harnai, Chaghi, Sibbi, Mastang and Bolan districts) during the period.
All the concerned authorities are advised to remain alert and take necessary measures during the forecast period.
