Health Department, Government of Sindh (Prevention & Control Program for Dengue in Sindh) has issued the public advisory on 27th October, 2019 in connection with how to safe from dengue in Pakistan.
Dengue fever is caused by a particular type of mosquito, identifiable by its zebra-like black and white stripes, and usually active during dawn and dusk.
♦ Sudden High Fever
♦ Severe Headaches
♦ Pain Behind the eyes
♦ Severe Joint and Muscle Pain
♦ Skin Rashes, Which appears 2 to 5 days after the onset of fever
♦ Keep your home and office clean from mosquito
♦ Removal of stagnant water must be ensured indoor and outdoor of the premises
♦ Water storage utensils such as Tanks, Buckets, Drum etc. must be covered
♦ Environment must be kept neat and clean
♦ Put up nets over doors and windows
♦ Use bed nets while sleeping
♦ Wear full sleeved clothes
♦ Use mosquito repellent coils and lotions before sleeping
♦ In case of fever, immediately visit your doctor
♦ Dengue Fever patients may take Paracetamol, Aspirin & Ibuprofen should not be given
