Directorate of Public Instruction (Elementary Education) Punjab has issued the official notification letter on in connection with improvement in pension disbursement system for pensioners.
Improvement of Pension Disbursement System
I am directed to enclose herewith a letter bearing No. PO(W&M)1-153/2011 dated 26.11.2020 received from Govt of Punjab Finance Department on the subject cited above Informing that Prime Minister of Pakistan has approved that no separate Bank Account is required for disbursement of pension of fresh retiree.
Fresh retiree can receive pension and commutation in the same account in which he / she was receiving his / her salary before retirement; If he/she desires so.
The above instruction may please be observed / followed in letter and spirit. This may kindly be assigned Top- priority.
