Government of the Punjab, School Education Department has issued the official Notification letter on 11 October, 2019 in connection with inquiry / punishment status of officers for getting Time Scale.

I am directed to refer to the subject captioned above and to state that the Authority has noticed that individual teachers / officers are approaching this Department for issuance of Inquiry / Punishment status in respect of grant of Time Scale promotion which causes inconvenience to the teachers especially belong to.

I am, therefore, further directed to request you that concerned Chief Executive Officer, Districts Education Authority collect applications of officers claiming for Time Scale Promotion and send their applications alongwith one pager service history contained place of posting of applicant during entire service as well as copy of CNIC to Director Public Instruction (SE), Punjab for Inquiry / Punishment status instead of approaching the School Education Department individually by the concerned officer.

The Director Public Instruction (SE) with the request to send a consolidated list of all officers who submit their application for Time Scale Promotion through concerned Chief Executive Officers, District Education Authority, on weekly basis, alongwith one pager service history contained place of posting of applicant during entire service as well as copy of CNIC each applicant for inquiry / punishment status.
