Observe Friday as Kashmir Solidarity Day

Government of the Punjab School Education Department has issued the Official Notification letter on 29 August, 2019 in connection of observance of Friday as Kashmir solidarity day with the people of occupied AJK.

Friday Observe as Solidarity Day to Highlight Kashmir Issue

You are well aware of the fact that the Honorable Prime Minister of the Pakistan has announced that Friday will be observed as solidarity day by the people of Pakistan to express unity and solidarity with the suppressed people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir with the national commitment, resolve and spirit with a view to promote Kashmir cause and to highlight the Kashmir Issue.

Directions for School Head, Staff and Students

I have been directed by the competent authority to communicate that on Friday 30-8-2019, all the school heads alongwith their staff and students will gather outside the school premises after closing of the school, Carrying placards, banners inscribed slogans, statements there on in favor of Kashmir and Kashmir cause. They will also be holding Pakistan and Kashmir flags. There will be a peaceful demonstration having duration of half an hour to one hour just after school timings on Friday all the arrangements in this regard must have been finalized well before time. The CEO (DEA) will personally ensure that the solidarity day is observed in a well-organized manner in all the Schools of his district.

Full Media Coverage of Every Program

Moreover, there should be full media coverage for each and every program. The pictorial record of every programme must also be emailed to soacademic1@gmail.com on the same day.
