McNair Chambers is delighted to announce the inaugural McNair Chambers Pakistan Essay Contest. The title for the 2020 contest is:
WHAT ROLE (IF ANY) DO LAWYERS PERFORM IN SHAPING THE SOCIETY THEY LIVE IN?
Rules of Entry
♦ The contest is open to Pakistan nationals who are either in their final year of LLB studies in Pakistan or in
the first year of practice in Pakistan.
♦ All essay submissions must be in English and a maximum of 1000 words (including footnotes, if any).
♦ The deadline for submission of entries is 18:00 hours (Islamabad time) on 31 December 2019. The winning entrant will be contacted by 1 February 2020.

♦ Entries must be submitted in Microsoft Word format by email submission to essayaward@mcnairchambers.com and must include the name, address, telephone number and email address of the entrant, along with details of their current educational institute or employer.
♦ The essay must be the sale and original work of the entrant. Only one entry per person will be accepted.
♦ One winner will be selected from all eligible entries. The winner shall receive 100,000 Pakistan rupees.
♦ McNair Chambers may exercise the right to publish any shortlisted essay in whole or in part.
