The Minimum Pension Notification has been officially issued by the Government of Pakistan, Finance Division Today on 5th July 2023. According to the latest memorandum, the Finance Department has given the approval of increase the Minimum pension rate. The Government has increase the minimum rate of pension is upto Rs. 2000.
As per the new pension notification, the Government has also increase the rate of family pension. The grant of family pension is also increased upto Rs. 1500.
Grant of Minimum Pension Notification 2023
The undersigned is directed to refer to Finance Division’s O.M. No. F. 15(1)-Reg.6/2018-644 dated 03.07.2018 on the subject cited above and to state that the President has been pleased to sanction with effect from 1st July, 2023, to increase in minimum pension from current rate of Rs.10,000/- per month to Rs.12,000/- per month to civil pensioners of the Federal Government including civilians paid from Defence Estimates as well as Armed Forces Personnel and Civil Armed Forces Personnel.
Similarly, minimum family pension allowed to the family of a retired government employee including those paid from Defence Estimates as well as Armed Forces Personnel and Civil Armed Forces Personnel under the Pension- cum-Gratuity Scheme 1954, and Liberalized Pension Rules, 1977 has also been increased from current rate of Rs. 7,500/- per month to Rs. 9,000/- per month. Commutation of any part of the increase allowed vide this O.M. will not be admissible.
