Latest News: The Caretaker Government of Punjab has announced to increase the minimum wage rates in Punjab and throughout Pakistan which is fixed at Rs.32,000 per month. The government has increased the minimum wage rate in Pakistan from Rs25,000 per month to Rs. 32,000/ month. The minimum wage increases of 25% to every government employees working in Pakistan.
Announcement Regarding Pakistan Minimum Wage Rate in Budget 2023-24:
The government of Punjab has fixed the new rates of minimum wage is Rs. 32,000/-. The announcement of said decision has been taken before the Budget 2023-24 after taking the caretaker government of Punjab. Now, it is applicable from now onwards.
Minimum Wage in Sindh: The Sindh Government has also increased the minimum wage of unskilled worker at Rs. 25,000 per month which is definite 30% more than the Punjab Wage rates.
Minimum Wage in KPK: The KPK Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government has increased the minimum wage of unskilled worker is Rs. 21,000 per month which is 5% more than the increase of wage rate in Punjab.
Minimum Wage in Balochistan: The Balochistan Government has finally increased the minimum wage of worker is Rs. 20,000 per month which is equal to Punjab Daily Wagers.
Minimum Wage in Gilgit Baltistan: The Gilgit Baltistan Govt has also increased the daily wagers minimum salary and fixed on Rs. 20,000 per month which is also equal to the Punjab Govt.
Wage Wage Rate in AJK: The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Government has also increased the minimum wage rate and the new wage rate is Rs. 20,000 which is also equal to Punjab, Balochistan and Gilgit Baltistan Daily Wagers.
Punjab Minimum Wages Notification 2023
In exercise of powers conferred upon him under Section-4 of the Minimum Wages Ordinance, 1961, read with Justice Division Notification No.F-17(2)/Pub/80 dated 31-12-1980, issued in pursuance of Article-2 of the Islamabad Capital Territory Administration Order 1980 (P.O. No. 18 of 1980) and all others powers enabling him in this behalf, the Chief Commissioner ICT, Islamabad has been pleased to fix the minimum monthly wages of unskilled workers and the Juvenile Workers in all the industrial/commercial establishment in the I.C.T, Islamabad, w.e.f. 1st July 2021.

Minimum Wage Rates in Sargodha, Khushab, Mianwali & Bhakkar
Office of the Commissioner Sargodha Division has issued the official notification on 222nd September 2021 in connection with minimum wage rates (Daily + Part time monthly rates) for any labour in big cities.
In pursuance of the instructions contained in letter No. FD.PR-10-18/72, dated 09/10/1975 read with letter No FD.PR-10-18/72(P), dated 04/08/2017 and Notification No. RO(Tech)/25564 FD. 2-2/2018, dated 09/09/2021 issued by the Government of the Punjab, Finance Department, Lahore, the following Daily Wage in Pakistan and Part Time Monthly Wage Rates of work charge employees for the financial year 2021-2022 are hereby fixed in Sargodha Division, Sargodha w.e.f 01/07/2021;
