Ministry of Religious Affairs has issued the official notification to change the Corona slogan on 16th March, 2021. The previous slogan was “we have to fight coronavirus, not be afraid of it” but now it is changed with the new one is “Coronavirus is a pandemic and its cure is precaution” (Corona waba hai, ehtiyaat jis ki shifa’a hai).

In pursuance of the decision of the Federal Cabinet on the recommendations of the Council of Islamic Ideology, it is hereby notified for information and compliance by all the concerned that use of slogan “Corona Se Darna Nahi Larna Hai” for the purpose of media social media campaign/reporting shall be avoided, and instead, the following words shall be used: “Corona waba hai, ehtiyaat jis ki shifa’a hai”
