Office of the District Education Officer (EE-M) Bahawalpur has issued the official Notification letter on 1 October, 2019 in connection with misconduct & Corruption in shape of two Government services at the same time that is working as Assistant line man in WAPDA and Working as EST (PET) in School Education Department.
WHEREAS,disciplinary proceedings were Initiated by the undersigned/ Competent Authority under the provision of the Punjab Employees Efficiency. Discipline and Accountability Act 2006, against Muhammad Tariq EST (PET), Government Elementary School Daim Wala Tehsil Ahmedpur East on the charges of:
1. Misconduct
2. Corruption in shape of Two Government services at the same time that is working as Assistant line man In WAPDA and working as EST (PET) In School Education Department.
Mr. Muhammad Naeem Ch. Deputy District Education Officer (M-EE) Tehsil Bahawalpur Saddar was appointed as enquiry officer vide this office letter No. 8342-46 dated 09·08-2019
AND WHEREAS,me Inquiry officer conducted the inquiry and submitted his Inquiry report vide his office letter No. 1585 dated 12.09.2019 with the findings that the allegations leveled against the accused teacher stand proved and recommended major penalty of Dismissal from service and other severe punishment under PEEDA Act 2006.
AND WHEREAS,a show cause cum personal hearing notice under section 13 (4) of the PEEDA Act 2006 was served upon the accused vide this office letter No. 9328-29/CC dated 14.09.2019 for 20.09.2019 at 10:00 A.M, the accused teacher did not appear before the undersigned on the fix date and time and neither submitted his written defence.
AND WHEREAS, I gave anxious thought to the available record in the case of accused teacher and Is of the opinion that the accused teacher Is hampering the inquiry process, undersigned reached at the conclusion that the charges leveled against the accused teacher stand proved.
NOW THEREFORE, I, Iqbal Ahmed District Education Officer (M-EE)Bahawalpur being Competent Authority in this case hereby impose the major penalties of (i) Recovery of all emoluments received by the accused for the period from 02-12-2009 to 31-07·2011 Rs: 26,10,490/- i.e Twenty Six Lack, Ten thousand four hundred and ninety only (Calculated by the DDO concerned i-e Deputy District Education Officer (M-EE) Tehsil Ahmedpur East and communicated to the undersigned by his letter No. 872 dated 01-10-2019, (ii) Dismissal from service under section 4 (1) (b) (i) & (vi) of the PEEDA Act 2006 upon Muhammad Tariq EST (PET) Government Elementary School Daim Wala Teshil Ahmedpur East, accused teacher.
