National Command and Operations Centre Islamabad has issued the official notification on 15th May, 2021 in connection with NCOC Decisions of Reopening Transport, Govt Offices 2021. The order will be implemented from 16th May and 17th May, 2021. The further details are given below;
NCOC Notification of Reopening Markets, Offices and Transport From 17th May 2021
NCOC session chaired by Mr Asad Umer (Federal Minister for Planning. Development, Reforms and Special Initiatives) was held on 15 May 21 and was attended by Chief Secretaries provinces (via video link). Forum was apprised about NPIs implementation in the country and need to facilitate general public through immediate relaxation in certain specific NPls. Forum unanimously agreed on relaxation of following NPls to be implemented as per specified dates:

- Resumption of all types of public transport with 50% occupancy (Inter city. Intra city and inter provincial transport) with effect from 16 May 21.
- Market activities to resume with effect from 17 May 21; however, all markets and shops will close by 08:00 pm (less essential services). Indoor/outdoor dining will continue to remain closed less takeaways.
- Resumption of normal working hours for public / private offices with effect from 17 May 21; however, 50% work from home policy will continue to be implemented.
