The Government of Pakistan, Directorate General Immigration & Passports (Headquarters) in Islamabad, has recently released a notification on September 4th, 2023, about the updated timings for passport services.
According to the decision made by the Competent Authority, there are new timings for issuing tokens for processing passport applications. These timings apply to both Regional Passport Offices and Executive Passport Offices, as well as Passport Processing Counters.
From Monday to Thursday, the timings for token issuance for passport application processing are set from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm.
On Fridays, the timings for token issuance are slightly different, starting at 8:00 am and ending at 12:00 pm.
This adjustment in the passport office timings aims to streamline the process and provide better services to the public. It’s important for applicants to be aware of these new timings when planning their visits to the passport offices.
