Federal Education, Govt of Pakistan has issued the official notification letter on 20th November, 2020 in connection with academic planning during extended Winter Vacations 2020-21.
Education activities in ICT and across Pakistan are likely to be closed for extended winter vacations w.e.f. 24th November, 2020 (Subject to decisions to be taken in IMPEMC on November 23, 2020.
Therefore, All educational institutes under the ambit of Federal Directorates of Education Islamabad are advised to do academic planning of education activities to minimize learning losses of the students and for implementation in true letter and spirit.
It is advised that all heads institutions shall ensure that schedule of studies for all subjects in classes Pre-XII, for approximately six to eight weeks long vacations is prepared by 23 November, 2020 and shared with students.
Every institutions shall ensure the useful and effectiveness use of social media (official Facebook pages and WhatsApp groups of all classes) and schedule of studies to be shared through these forums following ethical use of working hours in the most civilized manner.
Moreover, daily timetable of studies in line with the refereed schedules shall also be prepared with justified work load for students and the same shall be posted on the respective social media forums.
It is further advised that copies of both schedules and timetable be shared to this office through respective Area Education Offices. (For reference, a sample schedule for General Science for Classes (VI-VIII) is enclosed and can be adopt for preparation of schedules of studies for all subjects and classes).
All colleges affiliated with Quaid-e-Azam University shall follow the guidelines to operate online classes as per issued policies of the Universities. An Elaborated set of guidelines regarding attendance of teaching and administrative staff will be issued in the wake of convening of IPEMC and decisions taken by the competent authorities.
