Punjab School Education Department has issued the official notification letter on 11th February, 2021 in connection with two major directions have been given in the letter are listed below;
- To Identify Blasphemous Materials in Curriculum Books
- To Provide Curriculum Books Teach in Private Schools (Class-1 to Class-12)
Directions to To Identify Blasphemous Materials in Curriculum
I am directed to refer to the subject noted above and to state that the Special Committee No. 06 in its series of meeting has considered the issue raised in the “Resolution No. 33” Moved by Mr. Ammar Yasir, Honorable Minister for Mines & Minerals” and directed to identify blasphemous materials in the curriculum books.
Directions of Providing Curriculum Books Teach in Private Schools
I am further directed to convey the direction of the August Committee in its meeting held on 11.02.2021 that all CEO’s (DEAs) of the Punjab should provide the list of all curriculum books taught in chains / systems of private schools from class 1st to 12th including O level/A level alongwith two sets of following books:

I have further been directed to request you to make sure availability of these books within five days positively for onward submission to Punjab Curriculum Textbook Board Lahore and Muthida-Ulma Board to examine such material.
