Accountant General Punjab has issued the official notification on 28th May 2021 in connection with Payment of Honorarium Though Payroll 2021 instead of cheque in favor of DDO. The further details are given below;
Payment of Honorarium Through Payroll Instead of Cheque
In order to ensure transparency in the payment of honorarium, the competent authority has decided that the payment of honorarium would only be made through HR Payroll, and no request for making payment through DDO will be entertained.
You are directed to approach all concerned DDOs and require them to submit their honorarium claims timely i.e. before the 10th of June 2021, so that the same could be processed through the payroll system of the SAP-HR Module.
