Government of the Punjab, School Education Department (Monitoring Wing) has issued the official Notification letter on 17 October, 2019 in the matter of observance of Zero Period in connection Anti-Dengue measures in Schools (Public & Private).

It has been observed that ‘Zero Period‘ regarding anti-dengue measures in schools is not being observed regularly specially in Private Schools. In this regard, directions have already been conveyed time and again. The measures as envisaged in the anti-dengue SOPs, need to be taken for eradication of Dengue virus specially awareness among the students by observing of Zero Period.

You are therefore, requested to disseminate strict directions for Implementation of the anti Dengue SOPs including observance of Zero Period in Public & Private schools in order to eliminate the Dengue Virus.
Moreover, the Focal Persons may be directed to upload anti-dengue activity based snaps through Android Phone on dashboard and also email daily progress / visit report at ddm.emmf@gmail.com as per attached format.
