Government Officers Vehicle Allotment Policy 2023

The Punjab Government, Finance Department has issued the Officers Vehicle Allotment Policy 2023 through the notification on 20th July 2023 regarding request for advance drawl for purchase of vehicles for the use of officers posted in the offices of Board of Revenue Punjab (HO), Divisional Commissioners, Assistant Commissioners, Punjab.

I am directed to state that as per the approval by the competent authority/ Chief Secretary, Rs.2333.747 million has been allocated under object head A09501-purchase of transport in the budget for the CFY 2023-24 for purchase of vehicles for the offices of (1) Additional Commissioners in each Division, (ii) Additional Deputy Commissioners (General) in each District and (iii) Assistant Commissioner in each Tehsil of Punjab. While allocating requisite budget, it was principally decided that following officers will be allocated vehicles as mentioned against each:-

S.No Designation Type of Vehicles
1 Additional Commissioners of each Division Corolla 1.6 Altis CVT
2 Additional Deputy Commissioners (General) of each District Yaris ATIV 1.3L
3 Assistant Commissioners of each Tehsil Double Cabin 4×4 Revo-G M/T

Moreover, the vehicles retrieved from Assistant Commissioners shall be allocated to Tehsildars. Foregoing in view, it is advised that request for Advance Drawl may be sent on above lines.
