The Pensioners of OGDCL (Oil & Gas Development Company) have demanded from the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mian Shehbaz Sharif to increase their pension @ 15% due to the current inflation in the countrywide.
All the pensioners in Pakistan belonging to different government organizations are already receiving a 15% pensioner increase.
Oil & Gass Pensioners Demand 15% Pension Increase 2023
The pensioners of OGDCL retired employees have demanded a 15% increase in pension from PM Pakistan. The pensioners said that the Prime Minister had increased the pension by 10% from 1st April 2022 while another 5% increase was made from 1st July 2022 in the new financial year but the OGDCL board is still not giving any increase to the pensioners.
According to the pensioners, the OGDCL board is planning to announce 5 to 7 percent pension increase from 1st July 2022.
The pensioners appealed to the Prime Minister of Pakistan to intimate the OGDCL department to increase 15% pension according to the inflation rising promptly.
