Government of the Punjab, Higher Education Department has issued the official Notification letter on 26th December, 2019 in connection with online transfer application system and ban on transfers.
Please refer to the subject cited above. It is informed that the Competent Authority has been pleased to impose a complete ban on all categories of request-based transfers/postings of teaching staff of public sector colleges, forthwith till 31st March 2020, owing to the academic session 2019-20 in progression.
Moreover, the Higher Education Department has evolved an online system URL http://transfer.hed.punjab.gov.pk/ for submission of transfer/posting requests, as per the following calendar:
♦ Online Application submission: 1st April to 30th April 2020
♦ Application processing by the HED: 2nd May to 31st May 2020
♦ Issuance of Orders by the HED: 1st June to 15th June 2020
For the facilitation of applicants, the User Manual shall also be available at the HED website from 1st April, 2020.
Please note that no manual/hand written transfer/posting request shall be entertained by the department, in future.
Therefore, you are requested to pass on necessary directions to all the field formations and the teaching staff to adopt the web based system as per the calendar given above. Any further instructions regarding /posting process may be issued from time and shall be made available on the departmental website.
