The Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan invites joint research proposals from Pakistani faculty members of public and approved private universities for HEC funding in the following four areas under Pak France PERIDOT Research Program.

♦ Environment Sciences (Including but not limited to Water, Climate change, Pollution, etc.)
♦ Health
♦ Energy (Including but not limited to Sustainable Alternate Energy)
♦ Human and Social Sciences
The programme is one of the upshots of French-Pakistani cooperation within the scope of internationalization effort of higher education systems. It is implemented in France by the Embassy of France in Pakistan by the Higher Education Commission (HEC Pakistan to support the academic/ research activities.
The objective of this programme is to develop new scientific and technological cooperation between French and Pakistani higher education institutions by supporting the mobility of graduate students and academic staff.
How To Apply
♦ Applicant must hold a faculty position in HEC recognized public or approved private universities for HEC funding.
♦ Pakistani Researcher/Principal Investigator is to identify the French partner.
♦ Projects to be submitted on prescribed form available at HEC website: https://hec.gov.pk/site/peridot\
♦ Partners must submit the Project simultaneously in Pakistan and France.
♦ French counterparts will submit applications online at Campus France website while Pakistani researchers will submit the same application (three sets) at the address given below and bye mail.
♦ Maximum one research project can be submitted by one Principal Investigator for funding.
♦ The application completed in all aspects should reach the following address by November 15,2019 before 1700 hours PST.
