Government of Pakistan, Ministry of Railways (Railway Board) has issued the official Notification letter on 24 October, 2019 in connection with Railway Police Salary Increase with Special Allowance.

The Prime Minister of Pakistan vide No. 39(4)/DS-(IA-IV)/2019-379 dated 21.10.2019 has been pleased to approve the following proposals of Finance Division furnished vide U.O. No. F.11(8)R-1/2008/654/S/FS dated 05.08.2019;-
i). The remaining amount of Special Allowance @ 50% of basic pay may be granted to Pakistan Railways Police at the Level of its admissibility on 30.06.2011 of basic pay scales of 2008 w.e.f. 01.07.2019, to be kept intact at the same level.
ii). Ministry of Railways shall meet this additional expenditure from its own revenue, without demanding additional funds/ subsidy for the purpose.
