I am directed to refer to your letter No.SO(LD-I)2-155/FR-22/2018 dated 03-10-2018 on the subject noted above and to state that the official concerned has applied for a lower grade on his own willingness and assumed the duties accordingly.

He was not surplus nor he assumed higher post, therefore, there is no rule / policy of the Provincial Government in which such like cases are covered for the purpose of pay protection in lower grade.
