The Punjab Examination Commission, Lahore has issued the latest notification on 22nd April 2022 in connection with PEC School Based Assessment Schedule 2022 Grade-1 To 8.
PEC SBA Schedule 2022 Class-1 to 8th
In pursuance of PEC Commission approval vide its 25 meeting held on March 28, 2022 in line with the notification No. SO (A-1) 1-31/2008 dated January 19, 2022 issued by School Education Department, Govt. of the Punjab, the following schedule is hereby notified in order to conduct School Based Assessment (SBA) for Grade 1 to 8 by the District Education Authorities.

Standard Operating Procedures:
Mode of assessment and other Standard Operation Procedures have already been shared vide this office letter No. Assessment/Ad/SBA 2-2021 dated 10/11/2021 and No. Assessment Ad/SBA/2-2021/255 dated 08/01/2022 (Copy attached). In addition to this, following main points will be considered:
- Assessment of the Teaching of Holy Quran of 50 marks (Nazra Quran for grade 1-5 and Translation of Holy Quran for Grades 6-8) will be held as separate compulsory subject for Muslims students.
- Date sheet for SBA will be issued by the Head Teacher of the school as per above mentioned schedule.
Every school will generate papers through login into Item Bank System (IBS) with QR code showing complete information of school with EMIS code(which can be scanned through any QR Code scanning App).
The DEA’s are requested to take necessary measures to ensure that schools have utilized IBS by using their own login to promote quality of education and enhance the capacity of teachers.
