Government of the Punjab, Services and General Administration Department (Section Welfare-I) has issued the official Notification letter on 12th August, 2020 in connection with programme for Independence Day celebrations 14th August, 2020.

I am directed to refer to the subject captioned above and to state that the Competent Authority has desired to celebrate 73rd Independence Day on 14th August, 2020, at reduced level, therefore, following arrangements have to be carried out across the Province:
Arrangements on Independence Day 14th August
i). National Flags may be displayed at the Government premises in the Punjab.
ii). All major Government premises may be illuminated with electric lights.
iii). All instructions regarding Covid-19 in terms of social distancing, wearing masks and gloves and use of sanitizer should be strictly followed.
I am, therefore, directed to request that necessary arrangements may kindly be made accordingly In compliance of above instructions, In letter and spirit.
