Office of the District Magistrate Islamabad Capital Territory has issued the official Notification letter on 27th April, 2020 in connection with protection of media persons working field offices and studios.
It has been observed that Field Reporters, Cameraman and others field staff of your channel are performing their duties for coverage of corona related issues. In this connection they visit corona affected areas, hospitals etc. Performing duties under hazardous conditions is commendable.However, their job entails serious health risks and thus requires utmost precaution and safety measures.
It is therefore advised that the management of your channel should ensure that all the staff, field reporters etc strictly adhere to the SOPs issued from time to time regarding COVID-19 Pandemic and ensure that they wear Protection Kits, Gloves and face Masks etc. while performing duties in field and as well in offices and studios.
