Punjab School Education Department has issued the official notification publishing on 16th February, 2021 in connection with nominations of Lead Trainers, Master Trainers and Teachers for the Punjab Deworming initiative 2021.
Punjab Deworming Initiative 2021 For Master Trainers and Teachers
The undersigned is directed to refer to the subject cited above and implement the recommendations of the Working Group for the – Punjab Deworming Initiative. A school-based deworming campaign for school-age-children (class 1-10) is scheduled to take place from 5th – 9th April 2021 in the 5 at-risk districts of Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Rawalpindi and Gujrat.
Trained teachers will be administering Mebendazole (500mg) to deworm enrolled students, students from other schools and out-of-school-children. The activity will take place in all public and private schools registered with the School Education Department (SED), Govt. of the Punjab in the at-risk districts.
In order to train school teachers, Lead Trainers will be trained at the provincial level who will train Master Trainers at the district level, who will in turn train school teachers.
In this regard, for public schools, you are requested to nominate Lead Trainers and Master Trainers as per the count and criteria provided in Annexure I. For the nomination of teachers from each school (including Non-Formal and Literacy Education, NCHD, BECS and taken over Madaris), one teacher will be nominated for schools with enrolment of up to 300 (from class 1-10) and two teachers will be nominated for schools with enrolment above 300 students.
For private schools, you are requested to nominate Lead Trainers and Master Trainers as per the count and criteria provided in Annexure II. For the nomination of teachers from each school, one teacher will be nominated for schools with enrolment of up to 300 (from class 1-10) and two teachers will be nominated for schools with enrolment above 300 students.
It is requested that the required nominations are provided by the District Education Authority (DEA) by the 23rd of February 2021 to the undersigned. The nominations for teachers are to be provided based on the format prescribed in Annexure Min order to ensure the timely planning of the deworming campaign. Your cooperation in this regard will be highly appreciated.

I worked as a Master Trainer for the Punjab Deworming Initiative in September-October 2021 for 4 days training workshop. I have not yet been paid the remuneration for the said job. I, time and again, contacted the focal person Mr. Rafique (03335914366) but he didnt respond me positively. We, the Master trainers and participants, have been promised to be paid the said remuneration after 6-8 weeks but still we are waiting for…..
