Announcements in today’s Press conference of Punjab Education Department Minister Dr. Murad Ras. Private schools have been given 7 days to issue new fee vouchers based on the recalculation by DRAs. Recalculation has been done considering January 2017 as the baseline, as per the SC’s orders.
1). Transfers on six categories are being opened from Monday and they will remain open throughout the year.

♦ Married
♦ Widow
♦ Divorced
♦ Disable
♦ Mutual
2). Rationalization process has been suspended due to Annual School Census, it will resume again by the mid of November 2019.
3). Fee in Private school will increase 5% on yearly basis and will start from 2018 and onward.
4). 100 Model Schools in throughout Punjab within next 6 months
5). 1000 Computer Labs
6). 1000 Science Labs
7) 2000 extra classrooms
8). 400 new libraries
9). Regularization of Educators will resolved very soon.
Parents can visit CEOs (DEAs) offices daily for one hour (3:00 – 4:00 PM) for complaint redressal, but they are requested to first register their complaints on SED’s online Complaint Management System.
